- Pre-K Literacy Grants

Foundation Grant Fund
Foundation Fund grants are awarded to education providers, students and others in the community for projects and/or events that provide activities and learning opportunities encompassing next century learning, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.
- The maximum that can be awarded through a Foundation grant is $3,000. Grants are accepted and decided on each month.
In addition, within the Foundation Grant Fund there are grant opportunities available for specific types of activities.
- Pre-K Literacy Grants – funding for activities that support literacy and reading at the Pre-K level
- STEM Grants – funding for activities related to the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics
Both of these grant opportunities can be applied for through the Foundation Grant Fund application process.

Classroom Grant Fund
Classroom Fund grants are awarded to teachers and/or support staff of the RVCSD for innovative programs and/or the purchase of equipment, materials and supplies necessary for an enhanced classroom learning environment not covered by the current school budget.
- A Classroom Grant Fund exists for each school in the district as well as District-wide.
- The maximum that can be awarded through a Classroom Grant Fund is $750 up to the balance available in the school fund where the project/materials will take place/reside.
- Applications are accepted throughout the school year, but must be submitted at least 2 months prior to the date the funds are needed.
Each school’s Classroom Grant Fund is funded through contributions from:
- RVCSD employee payroll deduction pledges
- Designated donations via the Foundation’s donation form
- Donations through the Staff Tribute program.

Science Research Program Fund (SRPF)
Science Research Program Fund grants are awarded to the students in the Science Research Program in the RV High School to assist with their research projects.
- The maximum that can be awarded through the SRPF is $500, up to the amount available in the fund.
- Awards are made prior to the end of the school year for the following school year.
- Students should contact the RVEF with any questions prior to submitting their application and are encouraged to plan ahead for the financial needs of their projects
SRPF is funded through designated donations via the Foundation’s donation form.
